Alex Shusis has been an exceptional tennis coach for my daughters. He has been my oldest daughter’s academy coach since 8th grade, and I am thrilled to see her now playing college ball for McPherson College. When she first came to Alex as a little girl with a late-in-the-game dream, he told us to trust him and the process, and he delivered on his promise. Under his guidance, my daughter’s skills and confidence grew tremendously, and she achieved her goals.
Not only has Alex been a fantastic coach for my oldest daughter, but he expanded his coaching role with my youngest daughter’s, and he not only is her academy coach, but also now her private coach as of January 2024. In just 9 months, I have witnessed her growth in leaps and bounds. Alex has a unique ability to connect with young athletes and bring out the best in them. His coaching style is tough but effective, pushing them to their limits while providing the support and guidance they need to succeed.
