I picked up a tennis racquet for the first time about ten years ago, joined a beginner’s class and watched as many YouTube tennis videos as possible to learn how to hit a tennis ball. The only thing I learned was poor technique and how to injure myself on a regular basis. I decided to invest in private lessons with Alex and saw considerable improvement in a very short period of time. Alex started with the basics, breaking down each aspect of the game into easy to understand drills until I had a solid foundation for hitting ground strokes, serves and volleys. I quickly began winning more matches and within a year of lessons found myself competing for a USTA national title. Alex is not only an excellent personal coach, but a wonderful team coach as well. His teaching methods and deep knowledge of the game have helped my teams win consistently week after week.
